Fear Not

I was at a coffee shop this morning when I saw a quote on the blackboard

"Do one thing everyday that scares you."

Like most people, fear has kept me from doing many things. Things both big and small. 

Today I vow to challenge myself each day to do something I am afraid of.

Stand up

I have be hoping
That you weren't to hurt
To pick yourself up 

I sit here hoping
That you haven't forgotten
Your true worth

I'm here writing this
To you in hopes
That it will reach you in time
Because my heart seems
To have taken investment
Into someone I don't even know

And deep down I really hope
That you'll read this
And realize that you are better
Without the people who hurt you.
