The mirror effect. 

I have been surrounded by judgement lately. It has made me ask myself why we judge each other and what we can learn from the way and what we judge. The truth is how one views the world and others is more a refection of oneself. The world is a mirror and your judgements are a refection of you.

I challenge you to explore beliefs and assumptions instead of judging people. When you do this you open a door to expanded self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Rather than unconsciously delighting in the ego gratification of judging others, you let your reactions and judgments help you achieve greater self-understanding—and accordingly, greater happiness and success.

When you use your judgment of others as a mirror to show you the workings of your own mind, every person’s reflection can become a valuable gift, making each person you encounter a teacher and a blessing.

Appreciate your life. Remembering my trip to india and the eye opening experience i had. This is an india slum. There are miles and miles of this through out India. 1.6 million people live like this. The air is polluted, there are no sanitary toliets, no trash service, child labor, rampade disease, no clean water, and this is life. Very very few ever see out of this life.

Appreicate your life. Be grateful for all you have. For the fact you were born in a building with 4 walls already give a you a better shot then millions of other innocent children.

Surfing is my Religion

Never underestimate the healing power of the ocean and its waves.

For me, It is the only place I truly feel live.

The one place were I feel completely present in the moment at hand.

The fast past world of bills and spreadsheets fades away into the crashing sound of the waves.

My mind is consumed by the waves, a mediation of sorts. All my worries fade away

In this moment I am one with the earth. Flowing fluidly in the every changing currents.

In this moment I am free.
